Dispite all the reviews about this pub being full of pikies and drug bandits upon visiting I learned that the pub is under new management and the unsavoury types have vanished in the past 3 years. Now the pub is bright and lively with a very homey feel. Please be assured that if you order a shandy you won't be killed - after all how would I be writing this review!
