An excellent place to spend an afternoon. Well kept Crouch Vale Brewer's Gold for a phenomenally cheap £3.10 a pint. What's not to like?

The Springfield Bar & Grill, Bounds Green

I've been a long term patron of this pub, and hung on in there when it was halved in size and turned into a building site.

Sadly, after a visit today I must say I fear the worst. The new subterranean toilets are obviously a work in progress but to have one trap out of order and the other infested by rat-faced charvers snorting class A's off the stainless steel toilet roll housing it doesn't look too promising. This was at 7pm! top class!

There's no longer any compelling reason to use this place. Sorry to say.
