The Catford Ram, Catford

Trinker's review is fairly spot on. Plus, one of the main advantages the Ram has is that there is little within easy walking difference from the centre of Catford to challenge it. Catford really needs a pub which you can stop in on the way home from the station for a couple, and spend a nice Friday or Saturday evening in without fear of the usual hassle - I'd even welcome a Youngs in the more modern style and be happy to pay for it.

Until then it's the Ram - pleasant bar star, eclectic mix of punters.

Awful. If the bar staff make a mistake then that's your fault no matter what. You'll be barred before you know it and expected to pay full price for drink that was clearly discounted.

No chance to put your case forward before the fruity bar staff *try* and eject you. Expensive - if you want to pay what is advertised because it is not a badly priced pub then fair enough - if you want to pay what is advertised as a special offer - good luck - there will be some label hidden away to spoil your Friday night.

Pretentious, not bad beer, over zealous staff who are a bit up themselves. Food portions a bit miserly.
