The best thing about this place is that it gives the rest of Australians (like myself) very little to live up to. Can you have a good time here? Yes, but you can't be at all worried about getting beer spilt on you, or the prevalence of Aussie c*ck rock. It is full of all those so called "real Aussies" who have no bloody idea, and make the rest the rest of us cringe. But you can just ignore them.

For most Aussies, it's a place of shame, that we've all been to, even if just to experience it for yourself. I would go back, but only if someone else organised to go there. But I would only ever go there with a largeish group of people I already knew.
