The Sun, Redhill

I have been using The Sun regularly at Lunchtimes, and cannot fault it's value for money meals and very good real ales - where else can you get a well looked after guest ale for £2.15 a pint these days? I've just had a beautifully cooked Sirloin steak including a guest ale for £10.30 this lunchtime. Our Social club had our Christmas lunch here and we were treated like royalty. One of the critiscisms of the Sun tends to be that it is full of "low-lifes and alchies" - I suggest you don't listen to this crap and try it for yourself. My one criticism is that there seems to be a very high turnover of staff - it is a very busy pub/restaurant and even the long term staff don't tend to recognise me, even though I've been using this pub weekly for the past 2 years!
