Ye White Hart, Barnes

This pub has an excellent location, a really special building and has a superb layout with a ciruclar bar. Unfortunately, the service, price and general lack of attention to the customer really lets this place down. It needs a kick up the backside to make it compete.

Like a fool though, I keep returning - more due to current social circles than actual desire...

The Brown Dog, Barnes

This is an excellent pub. Yes it's more residential but the it's very inoffensive and doesn't get in your face. An excellent place to start a beered-up evening or to enjoy a quieter pint.

Since its refurb, business had picked up and it's a top spot for the current World Cup...!
