The Godolphin Arms, Marazion

Excellent carvery on a Sunday. �8.95 per person with choice of two meats each week, always beef and one other. Food served nice and hot with a good selection of vegetables. Nice selection of deserts, Chocolate fudge cake and lemon tart highly recommended. Lovely views over St Michaels mount. Good atmosphere, would have been nice if we could have ordered drinks at the table instead of waiting so long at the busy bar in the next room. Not a big problem though. Will deffinately return again soon.

The Lion and Lamb, Ashton

Lovely clean pub with very welcoming landlord and landlady. Excellent food, a little expensive for food ordered at the bar though. It's a pitty that our order couldn't have been taken at the table rather than going to the bar, this would have been such a little thing to do, but make a big difference, especially when the bar was so busy. Fillet steak was �16.95 and a chicken curry �11.50. We will return due to the excellent food and hopefully get served at the table next time. It's worth paying a little more here for the cleanliness and friendly staff. The pub doesn't look that big or exceptionally good from the outside, but deffinately worth visiting, especially for Sunday lunch. A good large car park at the rear.
