Whyte Harte Hotel, Bletchingley

Wonderful old building with good (if over-priced) food and tolerable beer. The only thing that spoiled my last visit was the attitude of the manager. Not a very happy or welcoming man who seems not to understand what an Olde English coaching inn should be all about. Shan't be going again until there's a change in the management.

The Oxted Inn, Oxted

Not a bad pub for beer, but it could do with a proper cleaner and a lick of paint. Cute guy in the kitchens!
