Nice place, decent selection of ales. That's the good bit. Our early evening visit was ruined by incessant, annoyingly loud rave-type music. The rest of the clientele looked too old to be aficionados of that sort of stuff. Tried the upstairs lounge - no respite from the aural assault.
Off after one pint, we would otherwise have happily stayed longer

The Limeburners Arms, Nether Kellet
A gem of a pub. I was made most welcome, had a good pint of Springhead Maid Marian.
On saying my farewells, I get an apology for the pub being so quiet. It seems that things pick up around 4:00 when the wives of Nether Kellet release their husbands after their day's hard labour. Lucky people.
