The Catcher in the Rye, Finchley

What has happened to this place? The bitter in there is rubbish now, always used to be well kept. And empty!!! Where have all the regulars gone?
Someone mentioned that it is under new management, well if that is true then brting back the old ones.

Got dragged back in there the other Saturday. Atmosphere still not good, but did have some nice bitter on tap. There was a karioke going on and you'd have to go a long way to hear worse singers, but everyone was having a laugh so I suppose it doesn't matter.
But where have all the eligible blokes gone? There used to be loads in there.

Went back in there this week and what the hell has happened? Dead, no atmosphere. The bitter was rank. Just a handful of die hard drinkers all looking bored.
On a more amusing note watching the barmaid finish reading her paper before she served us in the most sullen manner imaginable was truly a unique delight, NOT!
Will be sticking to the Dignity and the Catcher from now on.
