This is a great old fashioned pub, probably at it's best under the current landlord. OK he whistles but he knows how to look after his beer,it's always good and the food is great. Friendly staff, not all are English!

Let me correct my earlier comment. There is nothing wrong with bar staff not being English. I am impressed by the non-English staff, particularly the Ukranian lovely who can pour two pints at the same time. Edith is lovely too. Better to sign off now before I get into more trouble!
