The Green Man, Hatton

In September '05, my wife and I stayed near Hatton Cross station before leaving for Scotland. I had used this website to locate pubs near our hotel; we walked to the Green Man in about 10 minutes early on a warm, sunny Wednesday evening. Jules welcomed us, took our food order, served us and chatted about the pub's history and introduced us to the resident cats. She also kindly took a few photos of us. Since it was early, there were not too many others there; no one else eating yet. The food was fine, if unremarkable and my ale was very nice. We meant to return the next evening, but it didn't work out. Still, for our first ever visit to an English pub, we were quite pleased.
