Still a reliably great pub. On my last visit, the Westerham Grasshopper was superb and they also had ELB's Jamboree on, another fine new ale. They've added an awning to the small courtyard at the back, so I was able to sit outside and enjoy the mild weather even though there was a little rain in the air.
Going in to see what today's beer selection is a real treat - there's always 3 or 4 new ales alongside the regulars from Fullers - London Pride and the classic ESB, as well as Gales Seafarers Ale. And they're always in good condition IME.
Sunday lunch is basic, no frills fare, just like your Mum used to make and great value. The Sunday quiz is set by a different person every week from a pool of enthusiasts and it always challenging but never the same.
If you live in the area, do support this pub, because it's one of a dying breed. It's like a micropub and a traditional community pub all rolled into one.

This pub has the feel of a modern hipster style place, but the clientele is mixed, including students from the nearby halls of residence, workers from nearby offices etc and locals from the modern estates that line Creek Road these days. They have a good selection of Real Ales (usually 3, including ones from local breweries) and the beer seems to be well-kept. They also have a good range of continental beers and a reasonably-priced wine selection. Food is fairly simple and limited in range, but the burger and chips I had was decent. The prices are fairly standard for the area. They have regular music sessions and a quiz night, so seem to do plenty to get the punters in. There are a few tables outside at the front and a 1st floor roof terrace. The quirky furniture and largely open-plan interior may not be to everyone's liking, but it's a comfortable and friendly place to sup a pint or two whilst listening to local jazz bands and the like.
