The Gladstone, Vauxhall

Me and a group of friends went to this pub after dinner on at Saturday night - abeit we were slightly merry when we turned up (as it was my birthday) but had the best night there! The barpersons were friendly and made us feel welcome (even though we we not regulars) and they even had kareoke, which they let me q jump and sing on! and even after that they were nice to us. Top pub, would like to go back for lunch on a Sunday after what i've just read on here :0))

The Bridge Bar, Beckenham

Well, I love it. I mean, Ok it is busy at the weekends but would you really want to go somewhere that was dead on a Friday or Saturday night. I must admit I was a little shocked last Saturday when me a friend tried to get in for nothing just before 10pm and they'de changed it a week or so before to free before 9pm, which I think is abit cheeky as if go before 9pm you spend untold money at the bar so now i'm going to have to pay all the time. I think they should do a membership scheme or something like they used to do at Langtrys for their regulars.

The only other drawback of this place is that the drinks are so expensive. But other than that, for me I save so much in cab fares, because it's local and I think it's a much better atmosphere and is of an older clientele, both unlike O'Neills across the road (that was for Simon!) so it definatley gets my vote!
