The Red Lion, Mayfair

I can't beleive I have just heard this absolute gem has closed. It was, by far, the best little local in the heart of London! Very, very, very sad indeed!

The Grosvenor Arms, Mayfair

We used to go here to use the room upstairs regularly for meetings. The staff were always accomodating but the landlord was never friendly, helpful or accomodating. I don't think I'll ever go back. I rated it a 4 because the staff deserve something!

The Perseverance, Lisson Grove

Its a pity this pub can't be re-rated since the new owners took over in late 2010. It is a gorgeous, unpretentious, and elegantly redecorated pub which now boasts an amazing menu. We were keen to get down there when it opened as we know of Justin Aubrey's culinary skills and his dedication to simple, honest and beautiful food!
