The Firkin Shed, Bournemouth

Without a doubt, the best pub I have ever been in. The range of beers I have had here is incredible. From gorgeously hoppy ipa's to dark porters and everything in between, there is something for every discerning beer drinker. The staff are very friendly and the pub decor holds your attention and seems to change from visit to visit. Ciders? Well I didn't know there were that many different ciders. Good, live music and this pub is laid out in such a way that a new conversation is just by the side of you or only a step away. Walking through the pub, you get a sense that it has been here for many years and viewing the blue, bearded genie through the windows of his cellar, preparing firkins and serving glorious pints to chatting with the lovely bar staff you would hope that it continues on. This is a good candidate for the 'good pub guide' and a must if you happen to be looking for a decent pub in the south of Englang.
