The Bold Dragoon, Weston Favell

Only just found this 1930's gem. Visited last Thursday evening and to my surprise the lounge was full with drinkers and diners. I could have been mistaken but isn't this a recession? The whole pub was lively and full of atmosphere and conversation! As I made my way to the bar for my well earned pint a pretty waitress passed me with 2 plates of food that smelt just the ticket. I ordered a pint of 'Naked Ladies', no not a joke but an excellant beer from the Twickenham Brewery. It was first class and as I supped my eyes cast towards the food, quickly I text my partner in 'wine', to join me. After all there was a 2 for 1 offer on the food and a Yorkshireman can't miss that!! We had a fantastic bar meal, service was great and even the Landlord (wearing a shirt and tie!!) came over and checked that everything was ok with the beer! Oh sorry and the food!
Pub is a bit dated but quality of offer and level of service was a joy to behold we will definately be back. Well done to all staff for being so happy at what you do! Loved it.
