The English Rose, Luton

I know we should not take comments too seriously BUT
as a female CAMRA member who does not obstruct the bar with her gut and is an incredible active MEMBER who volenteers her time to work beer festivals so all can come and enjoy would like to know what hidden agenda is being followed by Sebastian????

I have been into this pub with gay, straight, TG and mates that could be decsribed as 'all types,' The Rose is a good pub because it does not cater for one particular type, nor does it predudice. Some of their clientele have particular Linguistic needs and the staff have taken on new skills to include these into the 'local' crowd.

The only clique you find there are people who want decent beer at a fair price in a friendly pub - that's us all is it not?

As a girl there are few pubs that you can go into unnacompanied without grief. And unlike several pubs in town they ARE prepared to accomodate away fans on match days... yes Sebastian you can like football and real ale....

If anyone has outdated stereotypical narow minded views I would suggest they are to be found in some of these reviews rather than in the Rose!

Now glad I got that off my chest I am planning my next trip away to a muddle field to volunteer at yet another festival....

Sorry for the rant but the CAMRA bashing Sizest twoddle reallymakes my blood boil, GET OVER IT Sebastian!
