The Perseverance, Wraysbury

What a shambles - we went there last night as it was the landlords birthday bash. Don't know what he was up to with the real ale. The pumpclips showed Youngs Special and Theakstons XB. NEITHER BEER WAS BEING SOLD. There was a clique of people who were asking for Doom Bar which was not on the bar or on any pumps. I think there was some kind of code going on that they were being sold beer cheaper than others!. My friend ordered Doom Bar, and surprisingly it was a lightish coloured beer, which this beer clearly is not. It looked and tasted the same as Theakstons and the Youngs. It is clear that the landlord picked something up from BOOKERS when he brought the party food and was making out he had three beers on when he REALLY ONLY HAD ONE. I am sure Trading Standards would be interested in paying him a visit, as this is a clear breach of the LAW. Does he really think his customers are that stupid that they do not know what they are drinking. Get a grip and stop ripping off your customers ROO, we are fed up with your cheap scams. Toilets are filthy and overall the pub is not very well kept. Time to clean up your act and toe the line if you want to stay in business, else clear off and let someone decent run the pub.
