The Volunteer Riflemans Arms, Bath

What to say about this pub.....It is a great little public house. We had a weekend away from our children once upon a time, and discovered this pub by chance. We never go anywhere else now, even if Landlord's jokes are rubbish, it's the taking part that matters!!
The staff are friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome.
I think the Landlord is Al Murray's twin and providing you go there with that in mind you will be fine. If you drink enough, you may even find some of the jokes funny...
The real making of this pub is the intimacy of the experience.
Finally, all there is left to say is go there if you want a locals local, and you won't go far wrong.....oh and the beer is excellent too.
