The Elephant and Castle, Elephant and Castle

Possibly the worst pub I have ever been in. Looking for somewhere to have a couple of pints before a gig we ended up here. Looks unattractive outside, even worse inside, horrible decor, flies at the bar and a terrible selection of beers. Bar staff totally disinterested – stayed or one pint, couldn’t get out quick enough!

The Magpie and Crown, Brentford

Excellent old style pub, no flashy decor, but comfortable and weloming and a fantastic (and ever changing) range of well kept ales and bottled continental lagers.

I just wish it we closer to my house!

The Chatsworth Bar, Acton

A few years back this was the sort of pub you dind't feel inclined to enter, the sense that the conversation would stop if you walked in. It's been done up and looks bright and fresh so we finally gave it a try.

Interal ambience is fine - but the choice of beers is awful. Mediocre lagers (Amstel, 1664) and no draft bitter. There was some live music on while we were there wich was OK.

Has potential, but poor choice of drinks really lets it down.
