The Jolly Cricketers, Seer Green

I met a mate for a pint in London on Monday evening in the Dover Castle, Weymouth Mews. He lives in Chiswick but had recently been to Seer Green to visit friends and they had taken him to eat at the Jolly Cricketers. Knowing I live in Gerrards Cross, only a few miles from it, he recommended it so highly I took the wife there for lunch the following day.
We weren't disappointed. Although the food did take a while, in fairness the menu warns "we don't do fast food, we do good food as fast as we can" and, when it came, it was really REALLY good!!
We liked the place so much we've bought tickets for Monday coming for us and three other friends to a book launch at the pub by Bill Turnbull (BBC1 presenter) on Bee Keeping and also booked in for Sunday Lunch for eight of us on June 13th when they have Morris Men on at 12 noon..
