The Nags Head, Belgravia

I really enjoy this pub as a novelty on a bit of a crawl, or to take visiting friends and family. Not sure I'd want to make it the end of the night destination pub but preserving such environments I believe is pretty special and important.

I wish I had a local like it, I would certainly spend more time there.

The Seven Stars, Chancery Lane

The beer is always good. I have never eaten here but the food looks good. I love charmingly bad service... simply bad bad rude service here. Making a potentially great eccentric environment sour and ugly.

After a particularly bad experience, being incorrectly and inappropriately corrected on my grammar twice on ordering, before I felt grieved enough to 'defend' myself (and linguistic purity), I have decided to spread the word.

A pub I would have once have championed, I will avoid so as not to be backcombed by the self indulgent ego massaging of the repugnant staff.

The Famous 3 Kings (F3K), West Kensington

Only pub I could find that was showing Green Bay Packers game few weeks ago. Loads of screens showing vast array of games, although nobody seems to know what's on which screen 'til 5 seconds before.

Was quiet on arrival but dirty glasses and plates everywhere. Had to object to inch and a half head on beer couple of times. Nachos took 45 minutes and were cold and nasty looking on arrival (oddly, I thought too, served with Sundae spoons).

Aswell as spotting a couple of broken glasses around the edge of the room which stayed for the entirety of the evening I also witnessed my first dropping of a (hip to hairline) stack of glasses, causing nothing less than an impressive glittering spread. Half cleaned up 20 minutes later.

It was absolute carnage, literally... and it must have only been at about a third capacity (some of which should certainly have had 'best before 10pm'badges, notably a man falling blank eyed onto my missus whilst his mate sang one nasal wordless note for several minutes).

On the plus side one of the staff was very pleasant. That's it.

This pub could and should have a lot to offer. This operation is an amateur attempt... including security.
