The Victory, Staplefield

Visited the Vintage inn as a fathers day, day out treat with my wife and 3 year old daughter. Staff was pleasant and was shown to a table. I ordered a roast beef, the meal came out was hot and well presented. However the meat was very tough.
When the waitress came out to clear plates, she asked how our meal was, which point I gave my views. Meat was a little tough for my liking.
Not long after giveing this comment, I was meet by a lady that was not very happy with my comment and said the meat was fine, everyone else had eaten it. Which is fine, but for me it was to tough I could not cut the meat. The saying customers is always right, well not here.
I was only giving my view asked for nothing in return, but came away very upset and embarressed of how it was handled. We did recieved �5 discount, shame a customer left so unhappy after hearing good reviews.
