The Fleece Hotel Bar & Restaurant, Barkisland

A large managed Greene King pub. Really good food and generous portions. There's a beer garden and first floor decking area which give great views of the surrounding countryside. Excellent on a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
There's even a separate kids room with a couple of xboxes for the kids and a TV/DVD player for showing films on.
Only a couple of real ales on (since it's Greene King) but both were kept well and enjoyable to drink.
Well worth a visit in the evenings or at the weekend, and plenty big enough inside if the weather is not so good.

The Blackwood Arms, Littleworth Common

Charming country pub. Excellent beer garden to the rear. Big emphasis on food, especially the generous Sunday lunches. It's advisable to book in advance. Nice friendly staff.
