The Parchment Makers, Havant

Went into this wetherspoons while passing through havant for a quick one the other day, and i was pleasantly surprised. i went in expecting the usual wetherspoons formula, musty old men and hordes of single mums with their toddlers running amok!

while there was certainly no shortage of the 50+ clientele guzzling their cheap and nasty pints of ruddles, the overall clientele seems dairly relaxed, no what you would expect in a Havant pub really!

Great selection of beers, although the guest ales were in the process of being cleaned, so a bit of a disappointment there, but old thumper was fantastic at a fairly reasonable price of �2.30.

didnt eat but noticing some of the meals coming out of the kitchen, it looked ok, standard wetherspoons stuff of course, but people seemed to be enjoying it.

Staff were fine, manager and what i guess to be a assistant manager working the bar very efficiently with a young girl clearing tables and taking out food with much haste.
