I am a member of Camra, enjoy real ale of all types,enjoy the company of like people. I use to brew beer at home some years ago (proper mashing etc.) but due to an increasing waistline I give it up!
I appreciate the sometimes complex flavours of real ales, and although I have occasionally drunk lagers I still love the real thing.
I lived in belgium for some years, and was very pleased at the beer experience whilst there.
Hope that this country can still maintain its good base of small breweries. Well the big boy`s don`t give a toss.

As a regular for almost 5 years, I have sadly seen a gradual transformation from a gem of a real ale pub to a fading star.
I`m sorry to say that this is not the pub it once was, the bar staff are excellent, but the beer quality is on a downwards path.
It seriously needs the B &T brewery owners to get a grip, otherwise the pubs future could be jeopardised.

Went on a wednesday lunch-time.Very nice building: friendly and attentive staff. Abbot ale was very good,meal was OK. One of the better Wetherspoons that I`ve been in.

The Green Dragon Inn, Stoke Fleming
Went with a group of walkers/real ale fans, walking from Dartmouth.
Called in early afternoon for refreshment.
A good selection of real ales, friendly landlord and locals.
