The Quebec, Marble Arch

I have been coming to the Q for some 7 years now and have made alot of friends there old and young and find this a very friendly place.Yes,its cruisy but it makes it exciting / interesting. Alot of guys from around the world come here because of its friendly reputation. Most of the staff are good at their job and friendly.Ok you get the odd one who doesnt want to be there but what ive seen he doesnt stay long. On a Friday night and especially a saturday it does get very busy.During the daytime up till i would say 8.30/9 alot of str8 clientele frequent the place.

The Cliff, Southend on Sea

Went in with my partner on the Friday late afternoon for our first time to see the pub.
Looks shabby from the outside but was pleasantly surprised to see it was airy clean and
Ok overall. On the evening of the next day I decided to go in on my own (partner full of cold)
I found the music was brilliant and stayed for nearly 2 hours . Bought the barman a drink who I think was new to serving behind that bar.
This place has all the makings of a good gay bar.
BUT... Being a new coming to the place I found it VERY unwelcoming and no conversation to be had by staff. I give it 8 ratings ...for cleanliness etc but for friendliness zero!
