The Blue Anchor, Chancery Lane

Visited the Bluey after is relaunch. As with all other previous occasions the food was below acceptable standards, my chicken caesar salad was a greasy, tasteless affair at �7.95 and the cheesy nachos came with a sprinkling of cheese and the bowl of chilli arrived x minutes later. The pub has expanded its menu to include various fish offerings which is good if you like fish. Only 2 of the x items on the dessert menu were available and service at the bar was slow...5mins to settle a lunch bill. Overall the pub continues to disappoint customers with the food - i work in the building that adjoins the pub and the food was good in 2006/07 but now its rubbish, i don't waste my money in there after work and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
