The Crumplehorn Inn, Polperro

As landlord of the Crumplehorn Inn for the last 17 1/2 years prior to 3rd May 2005, I would like to point out the the number of menu items has remained fairly static over the years. The Specials Board has been in operation since 1998. There are guest beers on an occasional basis, and during the Polperro Music Festival 5 or 6 beers on a rolling schedule which includes Scottish beers. The Sharps Revenge is a superb beer, is exclusive to the Inn and a top seller.

The accommodation _is_ impressive, and I spent a great deal of money increasing the standard to what modern-day guests now expect. The Inn offers both self-catering and bed and breakfast for up to 8 guests.

The new owners, Alan and Sonja have a new chef and even more complex menu which is a real credit to them as the Inn is their first venture into the licensed trade. The vegetarian selection is particularly impressive, and the new sandwich menu is yummy!

Although I am obviously VERY biased, it is IMHO the best pub in he village :>)

The Blue Peter, Polperro

Agree with everything posted, but just a small correction... the proprietors are Steve and Caroline. Not sure who Richard might be, but Kate is lovely!
