The Frog & Wicket, Eversley Cross
Hey, what a difference 18 months can make. The Cross at Eversley was my local but I stopped using this pub about 2 years ago as it was cold and unwelcoming.
Whilst I live quite local and knew it had changed hands and name, I just never got round to going back there.
I arranged to meet a mate there a couple of months ago on the Eversley Cricket day and the pub was great.
The three bars where packed to the rafters (but still the efficient and friendly staff kept us all supplied with drink) and I went home suitably oiled.
The new owners who it turned out I knew as they are ex customers of the said pup, had got the place literally rocking with three different bands playing music on a trailer of an articulated lorry that was parked out the front of the pub.
Also if you have kids go and enjoy the newly vamped garden with FREE bouncy castles and a great seating and play area. My son loves it and it keeps him happy for hours. Also there is now a sports bar where I can have a beer watch the Rugby and not get moaned at by my darling wife.
Well done Mark and Tania, I have got my local back

The Frog & Wicket, Eversley Cross
We called in there three weeks ago as it was a nice day and there was a Cricket match on across the road. It was a sunny day and we had a graet time with a couple of friends and thier wifes joining us. A good selection of ales and wines anlong with all the norm.
we ended up staying rather longer than planned and ended up eating there, the foods was served quickley and was good value
We have since been back for Sunday lunch which also vary good.
we will be back very soon
