We greatly value customer feedback and would like to respond to all the user reviews below who have criticised our use of regulars cards at the door. Our aim with the cards is not to be exclusive or turn away good custom, it is to ensure that our regulars who visit us 2 or 3 times a week are not refused entry or made to queue on busy nights. Lots of people have these cards and in reality very few people are turned away unless we have reached capacity or have a specially promoted night happening.

We have a large walled garden at the back of the venue and a roof terrace upstairs which both get filled up on warm nights and we quickly reach capacity, so it may look like we are not busy from the outside when in fact everyone is in the garden or upstairs. At 10.30pm our license requires us to close both spaces at which point everyone then crams into the bar areas.

We have to manage the space we have and ensure we do not exceed the capacity, which is why we are forced to refuse entry and operate a one in one out policy.
