Good pub. Small portions of food my only complaint!

Worst pub I have ever had misfortune of eating at.
Rude, cocky barman should have set alarm bells ringing. Drinks were in grubby glasses. We ordered and finally received our food after a 55 minute wait. Bangers and mash was not bad, but i was so irate following the long wait it was not to be enjoyed. The people who ordered before us didnt even receive their meals... When it came to paying, the bloke I assumed was running the place offered a feeble apology but said the 2 blokes in the kitchen were working their bo***cks off. Well, I dont care to be told how hard the chefs are working when I am paying good money. He also blamed the bank holiday for the rush! Now call me picky, but surely the bank holiday was quite clearly marked on the calendar and therefore predictable! It wasnt even nice weather so there were definitely fewer customers than there could have been. Tip: AVOID!
