I take exception to your comment.

because it is typical of the selfishness of dog sentimentalists. "we like dogs so if you dont you have a problem". well where is the logic in that? What you are saying is "I'm doing this and if you dont like it F+++ O++" well I dont like it and I'm not visiting that pub again. This assumption that dogs everywhere is NORMAL has to be challenged. It's just how it used to be with smoking "I'm smoking and if you dont like it you have a problem". Well eventually society realised that freedom doesn't mean I can do what I want as you seem to imagine.

This Pub is spoilt by one thing. They allow DOGS inside! I was happily drinking there one afternoon when I got the shock of my life as a man came in with a huge German Shepherd. The barmaid begain feeding it bar snacks. This in a pub that serves food. All I could imagine was what if every dog owner decided to drop in at the same time? And what about the health and safety implications? Needlesss to say I havent been back. PS watch your step on the pavement outside as I have observed this is used as a dog toilet.
