The Longbridge Mill, Hook

The last time we visited The Longbridge Mill, 5+ years ago, we experienced the worst service ever, walked out and vowed to never go back again. However a colleague goes there regularly, and recommended that we try it again. We took the family there yesterday (sunday lunchtime) and were very impressed. It was busy, but the staffing was fantastic, and took it all in their stride. The menu was very extensive, well priced, and we did not have to wait too long for the food to arrive. The portions were very generous, and food very tasty. We didn't buy any alcohol on this occasion, so are unable to comment about what was on offer, but the wine list looked like it had a good choice. Overall, a lovely place to go to eat, beautiful surroundings, with friendly, professional staff. We would definitely go there again, and were so pleased we gave it a 2nd chance!
