I love any walkies... was there again and does what it says on the label. Get Aussies, Kiwis, Saffas and ZImbos hammered :O)
Always a special on the booze, always sports on the telly and always some Southern Hemispherean (or a bit of Pompey lad) propping up the bar.
Cheap beers & cheaper music... late licence.
Only thing I hate is the bouncers.. they are rude, obnoxious, and on a power trip!

Always clean and very friendly staff but hard balance between the restuarant and the bar area.
Curry I had tasted nice but wasnt quite hot enough ( oven heat ) and found the atmosphere to be a little quiet... again depending on if you are wanting quiet restaurant or atmospheric pub.
It is a recommendation though :)

I agree completely about the door staff. There is one serious dyke that stands at the door ~ she looks like the headmistress from Matilda!
i Like in there ~ great staff!!! I love the live bands that play and good for an afternoon of ruggas.
Oh and they have proper size lunches!

I have never really been able to have a good time in here ~ really not my scene and cause of its size, there always seem to be dirty glasses everywhere.

I think the fishery is a lovely pub, many good memories there - its always clean and I have loads of respect for the staff cause a lot of thugs frequent it.

Absolute Shit hole... Lived right next to it and they were the only people that I was terrified of... bunch of chav bastards...

Absolute favourite of mine to be honest. First place I ever had a snake bite ! Red all down my shirt...

Absolutely lovely in here. Always clean and well lit. Great meals as well... Katy, one of the bar staff is a real doll and is definitely an enjoyable evening.
The local to most of the staff that work in Dixons, HSBC and all the other corporates on Maylands Avenue Industrial Estate..
Great garden for in the summer x

As some one who used to frequent "wally world" - this is the nastier of the three in the Leisure world complex. Its dirty, filled with all of hemels inbreds and with the lax door staff , most of hemels youngsters go in there. Loadsa chavs and inbreds...
Karoake night is always a laugh though... We all say we will never go there again but with a crap night life in hemel like it is , we always end up there when there is no where else to go...

The Festing Hotel, Southsea
This is my local. Never knew it before but do know that the staff are friendly ... food is good value... always play all major footie & rugby matches on.
Nice clean furniture & clean lines for the beer...
Only thing I hate!!!! Pay by song jukeboxes! GRRR... I would rather the radio - at least then when the song ends its not a dreadful silence... x
