I agree; a total hole of a pub.
Used to be a safe place 5 years ago................
Change of management during refurbishment meant that all the standards left when they did.
Great place to buy non legal highs, as obviously used by the current clients

The Metropolitan, Wokingham

Recently taken over, and impressed with running of this pub now.
A lot busier than it used to be, interesting mix of locals, join in the banter & they do make you feel welcome , not an intruder. Good prices across the drinks, worth a visit

Broad Street Tavern, Wokingham

Went on a very busy music night. They just could not cope. Booked a table for food, wish we had not bothered. If you can't cope with food, don't do it when you are busy. Rude staff, obviously copy example of manager.......
Beer is good though. Go on a quiet night when they can cope.
