Great pub although its mainly geared up for food,the food is exceptional, never had a bad meal here yet and very well priced.

The Fox and Pheasant Inn, Armathwaite

Nice country pub,nice setting and good food. In winter theirs usually a roaring fire in the bar area
which is very welcoming.

Its like being at home a cracking meal with good manly portions, decor a bit front roomish.

The Duke's Head Hotel, Armathwaite

Nice pub with good food, landlord reminds me of Brittas off the Brittas Empire, nice relaxed setting
and a nice village.
