i'm afraid i have a gloomy prediction for this place. It has changed hands recently. Tina Turner played on a loop for 2 hours, clip art menus and no food yet. The previous owner (scott) and team had an excellent eye for detail which is so important. I heard that it changed hands for the most money ever paid for a Greene King Lease. Give it a few months and i predict it'll be on the market again for much much less. Please, please prove me wrong. Don't let it go.

I think most comments are a bit harsh. Overall i think this is a fab pub. Lots on, friendly staff, well catered for well behaved children, good enough menu, nice location. All in all a pub that has something for everyone. Like it alot, just wish i lived within walking distance.

Went to The Half Moon on Sunday 6th April. New to the area so thought i'd pop in for a pint. Everything a pub should be and more. Great friendly service, good range of beers. Saw some very lovely looking Sunday Roast coming out so ordered one. Stunning!! Was told the place has only been doing food again for the last couple of weeks. It's obvious the people in the kitchen know what the're doing. Good luck to them. I'll be back!

I love it. What a venue. We love to walk and then go for a pint there. A must visit!

The Fox and Hounds, Chalfont St Giles
I reluctantly say that i adore this pub. It is really amazing. Perfect pint every single time (very clean glasses and well kept ale), the food looks tremendous. No big screens or duke boxes. Lovely wood fire. Not keen on mobile phones (which i can understand) but without signage saying so my girlfriend was barked at by the landlord and felt quite uncomfortable. Try it you'll love it but switch off your mobile on the way in.

The Greyhound, Chalfont St Peter
sounds like this is the worst pub in the world from previous comments. I like it. Nice set up, good beers and a cool garden. Working hard with comedy, bands, pizza etc etc. Good for them. Give some constructive criticism. Staff do look a bit fed up...round of shooters every hour would sort them out. Plus I heard staff are not allowed to drink in the bar even off duty!! Nice industrial relations eh.

Really happy that this great pub is now being run by professionals. Lots of things going on and by far the best Sunday Roast in the area. Had a paint job and looking much better. Lets hope Young's don't let it slip again

This place get's better and better. They had a blues session there on a cold Thursday in Feb and the place was packed with a great crowd. Safeguard the pizza dough reciepe it's a winner. website needs an update

This is what modern pubs are all about. Good beer, food and wine. Excellent service, happy, helpful staff. Appeals to young and old. Combines cosy pub with bar style. Toys for young children during the day. Every disillusioned landlord should visit this place..you will leave enlighted and with some great ideas about where industry is going.

This is a pub of outstanding service and quality. I can honestly say the food is the fantastic, wine list good and a lovely garden for the summer.

White Hart, Chalfont St Giles
Has now been taken back and managed by Greene King. Now doing good deals on food, curry night, entertainment, a lovely looking Sunday Roast for �8.99. Still going to take a while to get the atmosphere going again but on the whole a pub back on the up.
