Watermill Inn, Dorking

A neighbour recommended this place but after the reviews I was a bit unsure if it was worth going. I'd needn't of worried, had a lovely three hours there. Yes, most of the place is table service but the staff were friendly, efficient and very good at their job. The food was excellent, i recommend the wild boar burger. After our meal we sat in the bar area which was lovely to finish our drinks. My only complaint, as it was a very hot day today, on the tables outside only two had umbrellas to help you have a bit of shade otherwise I couldn't complain.

The Smugglers Tavern, Coulsdon

Started going here recently after hearing they do Thai food. The food is excellent, recommend the thai sausages as a starter. The beer is good too. The staff have only been there for a few weeks and they seem very friendly. You can order the food to take away.

The Ramblers Rest, Chipstead

Went there for the first time in ages on fathers day, what has happened to the place? all the staff looked like they just left school and none had any idea what they were doing. Didn't bother staying for a meal, getting a round of drinks in was hard enough. Shame, used to be a great pub

Normally pop into this bar during the day when they have the racing on - bookies across the road. Never any trouble in there, the people are really friendly

Great place to go to for a lovely meal, cheap beer and plenty of screens to watch sport on.
