The Green Man and French Horn, Covent Garden

The beer was good, the staff continuously polite and friendly, and the food was okay. Maybe a tourist trap, but as a tourist - it was a haven after a day of travel and sightseeing.

The Ten Bells, Shoreditch

I'd hardly call it a pub... more like a seedy,American bar.. music was loud and obnoxious... staff could not care less... we were out of there in 5 minutes

The Nell Gwynne, Covent Garden

Last Saturday, before attending a play across the street, we stopped in. There was a good crowd and the staff were really on top of it all. We opted to have our "interval" refreshments at the Nell.. and everyone was so polite we went back after the show for a few more... beer and service excellent!

The Hawley Arms, Camden

Stopped in on a recent Sunday at noon.. No crowds, quiet and realxed and just far enough away from the market scene. Extremely friendly - and glad to see us!
