The Dartmouth Arms, Dartmouth Park
Reopened in April 2017 and it's blooming great.
No frills boozer, excellent staff, top locals.

The Lord Palmerston, Dartmouth Park
Despite much experience this is a non-handlers university

The Dartmouth Arms, Dartmouth Park
After deciding to get rid of Sky this is a huge den for non-handlers

The bar area is full of media types talking very loudly to each other about how important they are.
The bar staff need to realise they are there to serve - they are not customers.
Pretty arrogant approach I thought - can be a good pub but I can't be arsed with it anymore. Much better pubs in the area.

Very very nice pub. A good spot in the country and in the middle of a lot of places to walk. Dog friendly, friendly bar staff, nice pint of Badger and good food - the roast and the scampi were very generous. Relaxing atmosphere - will be coming back!

Quite possibly the worst bar service in London.
Avoid like the plague

a lovely pub in a great spot
however
too many second homers and london braying fools though
is it some kind of new theory that the louder you squawk the more important you are?

The Stapleton Tavern, Finsbury Park
this ain;t too bad for a pitstop and to watch the football
sofas comfy and they do daily papers - bar staff pleasant enough

The Lord Palmerston, Dartmouth Park
a decent pub, nice curved shaped bar and the curtain when walking in is a new nice touch
food always decent if a little pricey and a sound room upstairs which shows the major sporting events
bar staff always very pleasant when i have been in

fair play to whoever decided to open this up as it's something different in an area full of of good boozers. a boozer this ain't but good for a late drink and next to the tube. deserves success.

Great pub. Decent balance of good food/good beer/good bar staff/sport on the tv - usually on mute for the 'smaller'games and nice and busy with a good atmosphere for the bigger sporting events. People sound as well. Perfect - but keep it quiet.....
