Excellent pub I must say. Warm, welcoming, view stunning. Service 10 out of 10. Loverly girl worked there who was very attentive, as were all staff, happy and smiling. NO complaints. Very good atmosphere, quite a few people eating there. I would rather go here than 3 bishops, as for police cars there was one in the 3 bishops car park...? So not sure what coolbadger is on about? Landlord perhaps?

Went back for a second chance as was visiting again. Nice looking pub on the inside, beer and all drinks expensive, ask for a 1/2 coke and they fill up the glass with ice, ordered Garlic Bread to see what the food was like - came out on uncooked bread, raw garlic thrown on top, and unmelted butter, my husband ordered chips, they were floppy and slightly raw and uneatable. Overheard others complaining that the food was not cooked properly and some food was tasteless!! Wouldn't reccomend for drinks or food, both in quality and price. Staff looked bored and heard them complaining about the boss, called him Herr Otto Flick, (Allo Allo), must admit he is spitting image! (Coolbadger may own the pub if you look at comments???)

Very disapointed. Not only by the staff, the barman was arrogant and smelt of beer, he gave the attitude of he just wanted your money and was asking for us to buy him a drink. We did eat there and the food tasted as though it were frozen, and while we were there we saw the frozen food delivery van. Awful really when your paying for a pie and its frozen, at �8.00. The plates were also cold, and so was the food, when I told the barman he stated that we are a pub we don't do hot plates. Disgusting attitude to paying customers, never going back again. The Sun Inn at Hulverstone is much more appealing.

Awful pub. Ordered a coke and apple juice and x2 meals. Never got given drinks and after half an hour asked for them again and they thought I hadn't paid for them!! I had Lemon Sole, which was awful....was �12 odd and it only came with new potatoes!! Tasteless. My partner had a tuna mayo baggette and it had no mayo!! Never go back!! Very poor service!!
