''Dorsetnob'' does not like dogs that it's obvious so why do you bother going there knowing its a dog friendly pub which is nice and it's a tradition which goes back hundreds of years so let's keep it that way!! as for you ''dorsetnob'' if you were buried under 5 feet of snow up some mounting, and you felt a 10 stone rescue dog sniffing at your ''nob'' I think you might just change your mind about our four-legged friends??

the word is, it's going to be boarded up next week, and that will be the end of the Pine Cliff Pub for all those genuine Southbourn people will remember it with the very best memories of a real community pub, it's just a great pity it cannot be put back to how it was. Without a doubt this Pub was the true Commodore of Southbourne, not the one hanging off the cliffs down the road!!!!!!

we had a Christmas dinner party which we had booked earlier in the year which was a total disaster, the management did not know who had ordered what,! can't he read?? as forl the meal the starter was ok, you don't need a microwave to make a prawn cocktaila, as for the rest of the meal it was absolute rubbish!!!
why do we have to put up with microwave and boil in a bag meals,
which is an insult to those of us who can cook!! and then there was the sweet, who ever heard off a 1 inch slice of cheesecake! and all this for just �15
on top of all that the manager did not inquire how the meal was
which is probably just as well.
message to Green King; that evening we all had whipp round for a drinks pot which was about �160 which was going to be spent in your Bar,but because off the experience and the atmosphere we took it elsewhere.
