Other reviews are a bit harsh. Sure it's not the best food you'll get in any pub in London, but the service is with a smile and it's fairly good value. I can think of a lot worse.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street
Very olde-worldy. Bit too cramped in places, but good otherwise. Good lunchtime fodder.

The Samuel Pepys, Mansion House
Climbing up the stairs, you're not sure whether you're about to walk into a casino or a top London ballroom, but what you get is a great chilled out gastro pub, probably the best in quite a large radius. Floor to ceiling views of the Thames make the window seats the best in the place. Nicely tucked away from other City haunts, so unlikely to be discovered on those late afternoon lunches...

The Famous 3 Kings (F3K), West Kensington
Reading all the reviews are a waste of time for this pub.
If you want to watch sport, go here. All channels, all languages. Best in London.
If you don't, don't.
