Excellent pub discovered by chance, we visited on two different occasions, once over a busy lunchtime and a quieter late afternoon time. Both times we were made very welcome by both regulars and staff. The beer was very very good and the food seemed very popular and looked and smelt delicious. Outside the well kept garden overlooks miles of countyside towards Rye.

The Oddfellows Arms, Toddington
Best choice of real ale in the village, never had to force a bad pint down as if there is a problem they will always rectify it (if told!!).
Food is good and reasonable.
Cosy in winter and a outside is a good spot to people-watch over the green.

The other comment "its great" probably was written by one of its young regulars.
I would say its "OK" if you are happy to NOT drink real ale and like to watch sport on one of the many TVs, or perhaps like the lively weekend discos etc.
Its usually friendly and the good atmosphere is not spoilt too often by fights!
Seriously though, I love the choice of pubs in the village and would hate the Bell to ever change too much.
