Hogs Back TEA and Pride still on tap. Plain pub, but the landlord and staff are always friendly.

Busy pub for a Thursday evening I thought. Not bad pub. Friendly bar staff. I enjoyed my stay.

Was a rainy Thursday night (2 weeks ago) so the big log fire was used to warm several bums ... ours. Welcoming and pleasant. Can't remember the ales on but there were 2 or 3. Would visit again.

I don't know what the local competition is like, but I didn't really take to this place. Nothing majorly wrong just a bit naff. 5/10

Good pub, friendly staff & locals, and a good range of ales which readily change once the barrel runs out. I believe they keep Youngs ordinary and London pride as regularss and after that who knows, but there are 6 ales more to choose from ... yes 6! Can't remember last nights full range but after we drank the T.E.A dry it was promptly replaced with Crop Circle.
Looking forward to the next visit.

Have to agree with Islelona there is a good atmosphere to this pub. Helped with a good range of beers. Girls behind the bar can be dizzy at times, in a comical rather than annoying way. Good pub!

Good range - 5 pumps so 5 beers. All round good pub, with one exception. 3+ for a pint is hard to swallow.

Not bad pub. As well as the jazz meet on Sunday I've see a chess club meet on a weekday. Ale is fine, and the canal side view is welcomed. Thankfully having 2 bars means you can get away from the noise of the TVs.

Friendly with a good range of beers. From memory (it was a few Thrusdays ago) they have 10 pumps at the bar - all of which had a different beer the night I was there.
