Very good IPA here but what more could you expect? Average decor for the area - nicer pubs along Fleet Street (and cheaper - ye old cheshire cheese!!)

Give the place a break! Sure it's not a five-star tourist business but it's friendly (really, when you make the effort) and the beer is outstanding. If you want a sanitised tourist pub this is clearly not the place for you - but for an all-round back to basics beer and food pub where you can drink something that has literally only travelled from the bottom of the garden, give it a go!

The last commentator has got it all wrong. There's nothing greedy about the Priory that's simply how much a decent pint in London costs these days. If you're not prepared to pay it get down to Tesco's and sit at home - I'll be in the Priory enjoying the brilliantly well kept beers and the banter in a real London treasure. A proper pub, with proper beer and a proper atmosphere - hope it's not a dying breed...

The Churchill Arms, Kensington
As a newcomer to this pub and admittedly an outsider looking in, I have to totally disagree with the last comment. Wandered in last night for a quick pint at 5pm and what a great atmosphere, friendly barstaff, friendlier locals, the place was really buzzing and I only wished I could afford to move in around the corner and make it my local...and they say pubs are dead!

Do the pub's owners ever look at this site? Is there no desire to change around a pub in a fantastic location which could be an absolute goldmine - but where one visit is enough for anyone to ensure they take a vow never to go back?
Went here with a party of 11 last Sunday. Service appalling, led by a very cocky, arrogant guy behind the bar. Food and drink...can't even remember what it was like. Service is everthing, White Horse Inn, Chef & Brewer, Spirit Group take note before your busineses collapse.

The Old Cross, Chichester
Popped into this with family and friends Sunday afternoon - desparate to find somewhere serving food before 6pm. I really wanted to have a good experience here but it wasn't - totally ripped off by the 'large' fish and chips - 3 more expensive but only the chips were bigger not the fish!!!
