Our regulars know better than to take on board your review dolph, I noticed you have just signed up to BITE today along with neptune06 yesterday. If you have something to say, come and see me, If you know me then you'll know i am more than approachable until then i dont put much weight behind your review.
1. I posted the only other review neptune wrote for BITE regulars to make up there own mind and who knows it might also bring some custom to the Bridge.
2. I wote in blocks to emphasize to staff that may be reading this that i do not and will not tolerate this behaviour. If they are off duty then they are more than welcome to play the fruit machine/quiz machine and play pool as i like to do also.
3. If Neptune had asked to speak to myself about the range and quality and service I would be more than happy to resolve his queries and yours also. As to what planet am I on m8, as i say come and see me before ranting which if you are a "bored reg" you would have done by now. im always here!
4. First negative post in nearly two years...FACT. I am more than willing to listen to complaints if they are justified and generally resolve to the needs of both parties, This is why we now offer our ale at 2 per pint to all camra members and will be offering ales from further afield along with locale ales. Our Beer quality is second to none and the awards and financial benefits are there to back this up (we have just purchased our second pub due to the success of the Stars).
Look forward to hearing from you.

sorry to read that we seem to have lost a regular customer (one who never posted on this site until now) This is Neptunes only other post......
The Bridge Inn, Bristol
The Bridge has been run by some young Polish people for a while now and they took sometime to settle in after Rab left. But now I think it has got excellent again.
The basic Gem & Spa are always on good form and the third handpump now does regular (and unusual) guest beers. A fourth handpump for guest beers is planned, Prices are very good for a city centre (Spa 2.40 and Guests 2.60). It has not turned into a Polish pub and a very mixed clientele drink here (suits & hard hats in the same pub!). Food is good basic pub fayre. Always worth going to when doing a Redcliffe crawl.
And don't forget the turntable and the very mixed collection of vinyl that you can play yourselves!!

If this is genuine review of the Stars I can only apologise, as Luke D of cornubia fame has mentioned it is always nicer if a customer approaches ourselves with any gripe first before posting on this site (this is our first negative review in nearly 2 years) especially if he/she thinks our standards are dipping.
IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS SHOULD STAFF BE PLAYING FRUIT MACHINES WHILE ON DUTY. I find this hard to take in and will be bringing this up to clarify the issue with our staff members, customers should be getting our full attention when requested if warrented
Our world famous pub has built a huge reputation over the last two years and with your help we can maintain it. To respond to Neptune we have decided to offer camra members 2.00 per pint on all ale on production of there camra membership card all day 7 days a week, we are also organising more ales from my home country(Scotland) plus many other surprises.

The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol
I would love to own this pub, This is the first pub I would take people to visit if I was drinking in the centre, The ales are selling well and looking good and it seems that dave has this pub heading in the right direction. well done.

love this pub, out of all the decent pubs in redcliffe this one is way up there, allways enjoy andy's company, service is top quality and the history/decor is well worth a visit alone, prices in line with every other enterprise pub but the Kings Head offers better service and a nicer decor. ales are well looked after, definetly one to visit time and time again.
