Second visit here and it didn't disappoint! Wonderful pub, best beer in choice in Brum and apart from maybe the Lords Clifden our favourite pub of our trip!

FANTASTIC PUB! We visited 12 pubs on our trip to Birmingham and we the only problem with this pub is it caused an argument between us if it was better than the old post office vaults! Can't vault this place at all- ten out of ten!

Really disappointed when we visited last night, poor beer quality, lack of staff interest and wouldn't recommend to visit!

lovely building! Really lovely building! I think we came at the wrong time though- took us at least 15 mins to get served on a Friday night. The beer was of great quality but kind of on the expensive side at £4 a pint.

In last night for the first time. We came to Birmingham on a weekend pub crawl and the Wellington was recommended above all else. It is a fantastic pub, it has fantastic beer- unfortunately our experience was completely ruined by the staffs attitude and customer service! They were miserable, unknowledgable and seemed more interest in talking at the end of the bar than actually serving.
Shame on you guys, it could be the best pub but your service lets you down so much.

We've just left this pub after the Aston Villa vs Leicester game and we feel we need to praise the manager for how he dealt with a group of troublesome fans.
After a large group of at least 15 men started loudly singing offensive chants, he came over and informed them to keep the noise down because there were other people in the pub to. After they swore and carried on singing he simply said you have till the count of 5 and proceeded to count down from 5 without batting an eyelid and as a result they offending group stop and apologised. This manager is either the hardest man i know or the biggest blagger in the UK! Either way the brewery need to give that man a pay rise!
Fantastic pub and wonderful staff! 10/10

I've read the reviews for this pub and can only guess I frequented the wrong establishment! Rudest staff I have ever witnessed in my life! One of our group enjoys lager, is that a crime? If it is then why sell it? We were swore at! Laughed at! and made to feel so uncomfortable!
